Peaches's Story

2 years old. Crate-trained, potty-trained. She is a sweet dog who just wants to please. She is also used to getting regular grooming and does well with the groomer. She isn't on any daily medication. Occasionally, if she was having a lot of anxiety, in her previous home, she was given some anxiety meds that were kept on hand but it wasn't something given regularly. She takes Simparico Trio for flea/tick. She has never been aggressive in any way. She is good with other dogs but she just needs 1 on 1 attention. There was a cat in the home and she never tried to be aggressive with it, only play (the cat does not enjoy it). She has been boarded at Pet Paradise on multiple occasions and we are told that she has never gotten a bad report. She may piddle a little when first meeting someone new...just timid/exciting small peeing. Most dogs grow out of that. We are told that she has gone to the vet and has had bloodwork done and that there was no acute UTI present. It is just something where they would just change the way they interact with her to minimize the pee incidents and they have had better success with. Letting her approach first and giving her time to warm up is the key!

She has had a dog of the family come over and would try to steal her food and that's the only time she resource-guarded but has never snapped or bitten anything. Sometimes she doesn't eat right away so just give her time to eat it alone in her crate. She loves Nudges treats and toys, She truly just wants to be beside you and wants to know her person is in the home but she has never scratched at a door or anything like that.

Fee is $385

STEP 1: Download & Submit An Application
