Peaches was on her own on the streets for a few weeks while a nice lady tried to catch her and bring her to safety. Peaches came to the shelter frightened of all the people, new surroundings and noises she was experiencing. She has made great strides but is still shy and a little unsure of everything. Those eyes have a story to tell! Despite her tough upbringing, Peaches is a lovely lady. She is demure, but will come up to you if you are calm and quiet. One look into those melt-your-heart brown eyes and you will be in love. You will want to hold her and love her and tell her she is safe now. Until she understands more about people and the joy they can bring her, she would prefer a home with older kids. She has enjoyed investigating the toys with us.
