Peach's Story

Meet Peach!

Peach is a 1-year-old, 12-pound little mama who has already been through more than any young dog should have to experience. She gave birth to her three puppies on the streets and spent the first month of their lives keeping them safe and together. When Animal Control was finally alerted to the family, her puppies were safely brought in—but Peach was understandably terrified and it took several days to catch her.

Peach is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. She can be shy and unsure at first, but once she feels safe, she warms up beautifully. She does well with other dogs and would do best in a home with another social, confident dog who can help show her that the world isn’t so scary.

Because of her history and comfort level, Peach is not comfortable living with young children. Her new home will need to have children over the age of 12. She will also require a secure physical fenced yard where she can safely enjoy some outdoor time.

Peach has spent enough of her life surviving. Now she’s looking for someone who will give her the patience, security, and love she deserves. If you’re willing to let this sweet little girl come out of her shell at her own pace, Peach could be the perfect addition to your family.

Peach is ready to leave motherhood behind and finally be someone’s spoiled little girl!

If interested in Peach please fill out the adoption application on our website www.muttsinarutrescue.com
