Sadly has has been an outside dog his whole life, in the yard with his sister, until she was recently killed by a coyote and a neighbor stepped in asking us to take him so he does not fall victim to a coyote as well. Pazookie is sweet and gentle and does not ask for much. His life has been turned upside down, but we know this is a positive change for him, it will just take him a while to realize that too. He comes up slowly for attention, likes being pet and takes treats so gently. He would love to be a cherished housepet. He follows his person around quietly and stops at your feet when you stop walking, he is great on the leash. Pazookie is 14 lbs on short little legs. He is very calm and quiet and so grateful for any comforts. Pazookie had a dental cleaning and how has beautiful clean teeth. He has great manners, is housetrained and is just a super easy little dog. He likes small non-scary dogs, but not bouncy and pushy dogs.<br/>Most of our dogs are not available to an out of the area adoption because of difficulty to follow up. If you do not live within a 2 hr drive of Orange County, please email us before applying to see if the dog you are interested in may be a candidate for long distance adoption. We may consider long distance adoptions for dogs who have been in our rescue for 6 + months with no local candidates.<br/>If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues, please visit our main website for adoption procedures at www.pupsandpals.net and then fill out our application. We do not have a shelter/kennel. Our pets are fostered/boarded all over LA and Orange County.<br/>This pet is altered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in.
