Meet 6-month-old Payton!<br/><br/>We picked Payton up to foster on 1/19/26 after she spent far too long growing up in the shelter. Despite that rough start, she is truly a gem.<br/><br/>So far, Payton has had zero accidents in the house and already lets you know when she needs to go outside. She came into a home with a 110-lb Lab and a puppy and did wonderfully with both.<br/><br/>Payton slept through the night, is oddly (and adorably) infatuated with the TV, and has been calm and quiet in the car—though a little nervous at first. She is currently working on crate training and making good progress.<br/><br/>She is a soft, gentle soul who looks to her people for reassurance. Payton loves affection and is just as happy to give it right back. She wants nothing more than to feel safe, loved, and part of a family.<br/><br/>Payton is ready to leave her shelter days behind and find the forever family she’s been patiently waiting for. 💛🐾<br/><br/>Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $650, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $550, 7+ years are a minimum $450 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.<br/><br/>This pup is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $650 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
