Pax (adorable Deaf boy)'s Story

Pax is finally ready to find his family.

This handsome 1 1/2-year-old bully mix came into rescue at the beginning of August and has spent the last five weeks with our trainer while we evaluated him, worked through his separation anxiety, and figured out exactly what he needs to be successful in a home.

Pax is completely deaf, incredibly sweet, LOVES other dogs, and has a whole lot of energy. He is a big personality and can be pretty intense when he plays, so if there is another dog in the home, they need to be very dog-social, easygoing, and non-confrontational enough to roll with Pax’s enthusiasm.

His separation anxiety has improved tremendously, but we still feel he would do best with someone who is home more often than not. If you regularly work very long hours away from home, Pax probably isn’t going to be the right fit.

We will also provide ongoing training support once Pax is adopted to help make his transition successful and keep everything moving in the right direction.
Pax’s adoption fee is WAIVED. We are not looking for just any home—we are looking for the right one.

We do adopt out of state.
