PawPaw is a beautiful young (2 year old) Australian Shepherd mix with a story that will touch your heart. This brave boy was abandoned on the streets and, for over four weeks, he waited faithfully, hoping his people would come back for him. During that time, he survived on scraps and the kindness of Good Samaritan neighbors. Sadly, while waiting, PawPaw was hit by a car—but even through the pain, he stayed, holding onto hope. <br/><br/>That’s when we stepped in. With a simple hip surgery, PawPaw began his journey to recovery, and what a transformation it has been! At first glance, his early photos made him look much older than he was—the stress and pain had taken their toll. But once he began to heal, we realized just how young and absolutely stunning he truly is.<br/><br/>Paw paw was adopted right after his surgery and his new family loved him dearly. Unfortunately, they had to move and sadly couldn’t take him with them and so Paw Paw was returned to us. Our hope is that he finds that perfect forever home.<br/><br/>Dogs like PawPaw, who have endured so much, carry a special kind of gratitude. His resilience, beauty, and gentle spirit shine through now more than ever.
