Paulo is a smart boy! He will pay attention to you and what your doing or asking of him to do. He has a fun personality and is very people and mostly quite dog friendly. Although friendly he does have some significant quirks. <br/>Paulo has major resource guarding issues and will bite if you try to take a toy or food from him. He does not like to be brushed ("you are stealing my fur!") He wants to be loved, but needs an experienced adult, who will respect his boundaries.<br/>It is best if Paulo remains an outdoor dog, happily living with others - because he will take things that belong to others, and you can NOT take them away! <br/>This is why Paulo lives at our Sanctuary - he is easily managed, knowing what his triggers are! But he is only suitable for an adult only, predictable home. <br/> If you are up for a rewarding, but slightly challenging relationship, Paulo may be your guy!
