Paula's Story

Meet Paula — part Chihuahua, part excavator, part satellite dish. At 3 years old, this spayed queen has officially perfected the art of dramatic tiny-dog living. Her ears are approximately 78% of her body mass and may or may not be capable of picking up radio frequencies from neighboring states.
Paula is fully vaccinated, crate trained, potty trained outside and on pee pads, because she believes in offering her staff multiple bathroom management options. She absolutely loves other dogs and gets along well with cats, making her a solid candidate for a multi-pet household. Outside, Paula transforms into a caffeinated woodland creature, zooming around the yard and digging holes large enough to make you question whether she’s searching for treasure, freedom, or a direct route to the Earth’s core.
Her greatest passion in life? Belly rubs. If you stop rubbing her belly before she’s emotionally prepared, she will stare at you like you’ve personally betrayed her.
Paula does take time to warm up to new people and environments. She’s not the “love everyone immediately” type — she’s more of a “please submit your friendship application and allow 5–7 business days for processing” girl. Because of this, she would do best in an adult-only home or one without children. She has very strong opinions about personal space, children, and apparently the entire postal service.
Once Paula trusts you, though, you’ll have a hilarious, loyal little sidekick who will keep you entertained daily with her oversized ears, tiny legs, and unreasonably ambitious landscaping projects.
Adopt Paula if you’re looking for:
• A professional cuddler
• A tiny dog with big security energy
• A backyard renovation specialist
• A best friend who’s equal parts chaos and love
