Patterson's Story
Meet Patterson

Patterson's story started in a place no puppy should ever have to call home... hiding on the upper floors of a construction site.

At just 6 months old, he was already surviving on his own—cowering in corners, darting away from people, and only coming out for scraps left behind. His perfect adopter would be patient and understand dogs with limited early socialization, as well as have an active lifestyle to match his energy, with the ability to help him decompress. Someone who sees his past not as a limitation—but as part of his story.

Patterson doesn't need perfect... he just needs someone willing to show him what life was always supposed to be.

Patterson's story started in a place no puppy should ever have to call home... hiding on the upper floors of a construction site.
At just 6 months old, he was already surviving on his own—cowering in corners, darting away from people, and only coming out for scraps left behind. No trust. No safety. No understanding of the world around him.
When he was humanely trapped, we hoped his story would turn quickly—that someone would come looking for him. But no one did.
The shelter environment only shut him down further, and his future became uncertain... until the very person who helped save him stepped in again and gave him a second chance.
Patterson arrived fearful, withdrawn, and checked out.
But he was still just a puppy—and that curiosity started to break through.
Watching other dogs play, get excited, and trust humans... something clicked.
Slowly, he began to lean in.
To explore.
To hope.
