Cars came and went. But no one stopped to help.<br/><br/>Eventually, someone made the call that changed everything. <br/><br/>It's hard to believe this is the same dog. When Patsy first arrived, she was scared and unsure after everything shed been through. But once she realized she was finally safe, her sweet, goofy personality started to shine.<br/><br/>Now she's all smiles, happy tail wags, and playful zoomies. Patsy loves her toys, never says no to a tasty treat, and has the kind of joyful spirit that's impossible not to love. She's also great with other dogs and would be happy to meet any potential dog siblings.<br/><br/>After waiting all those hours for someone to care, Patsy is finally ready for the one thing shes always deserved—a family who will never leave her behind. <br/><br/>Patsy is a 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix that weighs 51 lbs. <br/><br/>Sadly, Patsy tested positive for heartworms. But please dont let this scare you away! We just need to get her into a home during her treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about her heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering her (we'd love to find her a foster home!). Once her treatment plan is completed, Patsy will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
