Patsy's Story

Meet Patsy Cline
Patsy Cline was the seventh born of Reba's litter of 8, and she is lovingly known as one of “the twins.” The last two puppies born looked almost identical, and Patsy is one of those precious little look-alike. Her mom, Reba, was rescued from the shelter after being there for about a month. When she was picked up, she appeared pregnant, and a vet visit confirmed she was a little over halfway through her pregnancy. Reba went to her foster home and, right on time, delivered 8 healthy puppies in the bathroom. It was quick, easy, and everyone was healthy as could be. Reba was a wonderful mom, and each puppy has grown into their own unique personality.
About Patsy Cline
• Born: March 29, 2026
• Weight: 23.6 lbs
• Seventh born of the litter
• Known as: One of “the twins”
• Coloring: Mostly black with brindle socks
• Fully vaccinated
• On heart-worm prevention
• Eating: Retriever puppy food
Personality
• Super sweet and loving
• The shyest of the litter
• New things can scare her at first
• Needs a little extra time to warm up to new experiences
• Loves to cuddle
• Loves watching the world from the comfort of her person's lap
• Enjoys a good chew bone away from the chaos
• Has been known to play tug-of-war with her siblings
• Gets overwhelmed by hyper dogs or crowded situations
Home Life & Training
• Leash trained
• Good in a crate at night
• Does well in her crate during the day as needed
• Completely potty trained
• Best suited for a home that understands she may need patience with new things
• ‍‍ Happiest close to her people, where she feels safe and loved
Patsy Cline is a gentle, tender-hearted little girl who just needs a little patience and reassurance as she learns the world is safe. She may be shy at first, but underneath that cautious little exterior is a very sweet puppy who loves cuddles, quiet comfort, and being close to her people. Reba may have had a rough start, but Patsy Cline will never know the life of a stray shelter dog — and now she is ready for a forever family who will love her soft, sensitive little heart. Fill out an adoption application to have her join your family. Her $550 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY. She is in NY.
