I thought I'd already found my forever home... now I'm hoping for one more chance. <br/>Hi, I'm Patches.<br/>Some of you may remember me I was here at the shelter a couple of years ago before I found a home. I truly thought it would be forever.<br/>But sometimes life changes in ways no one expects.<br/>Because of changes in my owner's living circumstances, I found myself back at the shelter through no fault of my own. My heart is a little confused, but I'm doing my best to stay hopeful that there's another family out there for me. <br/>I'm about 4 years old, a spayed Collie mix, and I'm what I'd call the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy.<br/>I absolutely LOVE people. If you're handing out pets, belly rubs, attention, or treats, you can count me in! I have lots of energy and would love an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and making memories together.<br/>I've done well with kids, too, and I really enjoy being included in family life.<br/>Now let's talk honestly about what I need.<br/>I'm a little picky about my dog friends. I may be okay with some dogs, but I'd probably be happiest as your one and only. I did briefly live with a cat in the past, but every cat and every dog is different, so compatibility can never be guaranteed.<br/>I'll also need some help brushing up on my potty training routine.
