He's been in our rescue a while, and it's been great to see him blossom and progress in his training. Once you get past the occasional grumble and growl, he is a funny, affectionate, and loyal little guy who keeps his foster family laughing all the time.<br/><br/>Paddy is about 15 lbs., house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. He’s a quick study and loves to show off his tricks — he knows "sit," "stay," "shake," "lay down," and even "roll over." Food and praise are his love languages!<br/><br/>He’s a great walking buddy and is obsessed with his toys -- but he’s happiest spending most of his time burrowed under a blanket. He’s a polite house guest, does not chew what he shouldn’t (your shoes are safe!), and gets along well with his dog friends at home. He can be barky around new dogs, but when it comes to new humans, he does not meet a stranger!<br/><br/>We know a dog like Paddy isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea. He's bold, full of character, and best enjoyed by someone who likes some spice! Paddy holds onto a few quirks from his past: he can be protective of his things and needs clear boundaries. He thrives with structure and consistency, and once he understands the rules, he follows them beautifully.
