Pascal (aka Raven)'s Story

Raven is a very sweet and a little shy at first. She gets along great with other dogs and would be good with calm kids. She is young and energetic so will need daily exercise. Some of our dogs are adopted very quickly. If you are truly interested in a dog fill out an application ASAP. If you take the time to email a question someone will already be ahead of you with a completed application. To be pre approved fill out an application at the link below. You are welcome to come in anytime we are open to meet the cats and dogs. If you are preapproved you can adopt on the same day. We are open Monday-Saturday 1-4. Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. https://arfok.org/pages/adoption Adoption fee is $150 for all dogs over 6 months old, $200 for large breed puppies under 6 months, $250 for small breed puppies and some pure breed dogs. All adoptions include, spay/neuter, vaccines, a heartworm test, and a free 1 year membership to our 5 acre ARF Park. For other dog questions please email ARFdogs74006@gmail.com We do adopt out of state, but the adopter must travel to ARF to meet the dog they are looking to adopt. They must have an approved application before traveling to meet the dog. We do allow small dogs that are eligible to fly in the cabin of a plane. We DO NOT allow dogs to travel in the cargo area of the plane under any circumstances. Any dog that is adopted can of course go by personal vehicle. We do not allow dogs to be transported "pony express style" where they are passed from driver to driver.

* Submit an online adoption application (click the ADOPT button for any dog/cat) complete with references * Once references are checked, you will be contacted with approval * Visit ARF to meet the cat/dog you are interested in adopting * Pay adoption fee & sign adoption agreement Adoption Fees: Cats $75; Puppies (6 mos & under) - $200*, small breed puppies - $250*, adult dogs - $150* *Dog adoption fee includes a complimentary year membership to our private dog park (ARF Park). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all appropriate tests and vaccinations. Your adoption application will be reviewed, non-family references checked and landlords will be contacted if you rent. We want to make sure our rescues are going to their forever home, so our goal is to make the best possible match between dog and adopter. Being first to apply does not mean you will be the chosen applicant. We do not ship our rescues. Once the application is approved, you will be contacted and invited to meet the pet of your choice. (Keep in mind you will need to prepare for your new family member to come home! For dogs/puppies you will will need a collar/leash & ID tag, dog house or dog bed, food/water dishes, food and treats of course! For cats you will need a litter box, litter, food/water dishes, food, treats, collar and ID tag. You will also need an appropriate size of pet carrier to bring your new pet home and for future vet visits or emergencies.
