Parker's Story

Meet Parker — your future best friend 🐾
At just a year and a half old and around 13 pounds, Parker is the perfect mix of playful energy and loyal companionship. This sweet boy forms strong bonds with his people and loves staying close to his foster mom throughout the day. If you’re looking for a little shadow who will happily follow you from room to room, Parker is your guy.
Parker is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. He adores his foster dog siblings—whether they’re playing or snuggling up for a nap—and he’s always excited to make new canine friends on walks. Speaking of walks, Parker is a big fan! He enjoys getting out and exploring, and he’s already potty trained, making him an easy addition to your daily routine.
Like many young dogs, Parker has bursts of excitement, but he settles nicely with a chew toy or some outdoor playtime. He already knows “sit” and is working hard on learning “down” and “stay”—he’s a smart pup who just needs a little consistency.
Parker isn’t the biggest fan of the crate, but he handles it when necessary. He can feel a little sad when his people leave, but his joyful, tail-wagging greetings when you return make every homecoming extra special. He truly lives to love and be loved.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with affection, happy energy, and lots of cuddles, Parker is ready to make your house a home.

If you are interested in this dog The first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/dog-application/

ADOPTION FEE: $400.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
