What is Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia’s adoption process?

Our shelter welcomes adopters 7 days a week! We have many cats, kittens, dogs and puppies of all breeds, ages and sizes waiting for their new homes.  Adoption fees are: $50 for cats (over 6 months) $75 for kittens (under 6 months) $75 for dogs (over 6 months) $125 for puppies (under 6 months) The adoption fee includes your new pet's spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and an offer for 30 days of free pet health insurance from ShelterCare. Cats and kittens can be adopted two for the price of one through our Adopt-A-Buddy program. Some of our adoptable pets are in foster homes and cannot be viewed at the shelter.  If you are interested in adopting a foster animal, you may get in touch with the foster care provider directly.  Contact details can be found in each foster animal's description.
