Parche's Story
Parche is a sweet 5-month-old male Westie-mix and medium-sized puppy (approximately 27 lbs. as of January 15) with a medium to high energy level. He is a joyful, playful, and loving boy who would thrive in a home with a yard or with an active family that enjoys outdoor time and can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Parche is pure happiness in dog form. He loves running around the yard, playing with toys, and being around other dogs of all sizes. But just as much as he loves to play, he loves to be close to people. He enjoys being petted and will look at you with the sweetest eyes, gently asking for love and attention.

He has lived with young children and teenagers and does wonderfully with people of all ages. He truly loves being part of a family and sharing everyday moments.

Parche has no food aggression and is very polite when it comes to treats; he can wait patiently and does great around other dogs! He is also very food-motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Hooray!

He is house-trained, does all his business outside, and rides beautifully in the car. He is not a big barker and has a calm side once his energy is released.

Parche sleeps in a crate and may cry briefly when first placed inside, but he settles down quickly. He is learning leash skills and improving every day with gentle guidance and patience.

He has not been tested with cats, but he does well with chickens, which shows how gentle and adaptable he can be.

Rescue story: Parche appeared unexpectedly in front of a family’s home looking for help. Today, he is fully vetted and ready to find a loving home where he can play, cuddle, and be part of a family forever.
