If you're looking for a constant companion, Paprika is your girl. She lives for snuggles, lap time, and giving out endless kisses. She loves to be held and does the cutest little motion with her paws when she wants up. Her favorite place to sleep tucked up as close to you as possible, wherever she happens to fit. <br/><br/>Paprika is making excellent progress with her house manners and potty training! She rarely has accidents indoors anymore. She doesn't love a kennel, but will keep one clean and does settle down after a bit of whining. However, I don't feel the need to kennel her anymore when I leave the house. She can reliably go several hours free roaming without any accidents, and she does not chew anything. She does become vocal when new people come to the house (often warming up to women a bit faster than men) but is continuously learning to be comfortable around strangers. Often times, after a few minutes in a quiet room or the kennel and a couple treats, she settles down and does fine with the new company. Once she knows she can trust you, I promise you will be showered with endless love!! Paprika has not met not met any children yet, but I suspect she may not be the best fit for a house with young children, as loud noises and sudden movements do spook her still.<br/><br/>Paprika might take a bit of time to warm up to other dogs, usually doing better (off the bat) with calmer, older dogs. However, she has unexpectedly become best friends with my 8 month old Lab puppy. A very playful side of her has come out that is so much fun to watch! She loves to play wrestle, tug-o-war, chase balls (working on the return), and run circles around the other dogs when they chase her. She's a total firecracker. She gets along great with my cat as well!<br/><br/>She's been making amazing progress with her confidence outside the house as well. She rides politely in a car and really enjoys going to the nearby park to sniff around and get the zoomies. She does not enjoy being approached by strangers in public yet, but I'm confident that with continued exposure and training, she'll be ready to go on walks anywhere in no time! <br/><br/><br/>Adoption fee: $695.00
