Papi's Story

Meet Papi

This 3-year-old Chihuahua mix has been through a big life change after losing his previous owner, and he’s still trying to figure out the world around him. Everything feels a little overwhelming right now, so Papi is looking for someone patient and understanding to help him feel safe again.

He can be a bit unsure and isn’t a fan of being picked up—he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, thank you very much! Papi also has a touch of that classic “little dog syndrome,” letting you know how he feels when he’s uncomfortable. But underneath it all is a loyal little guy who just needs time, consistency, and gentle guidance.

With patience and love, Papi has so much potential to blossom into a devoted companion. He’s searching for a calm home where he can build trust at his own pace and finally feel secure again.
