Papi's Story

Hi, I’m Papi! I’m a big ol’ hunk of burning love, and I’m hoping you might be my person.

I’ve had a bit of a rough start. The family I knew left me behind, and somehow I ended up on the list to be euthanized. I don’t really understand how I went from having a family to having no one, but I’m trying not to hold it against the world. I still believe people are good, and I still have SO much love to give.

These days, I’m making up for lost time. I love being around my people, getting cuddles, and making sure nobody forgets that I’m there. I’m a pretty affectionate guy, and if there’s an opportunity to lean against you, curl up next to you, or sneak in for some extra love, I’m probably taking it.

I also LOVE toys. Seriously. Toys are kind of my thing. Give me something fun to play with and I’m a happy boy.

I’m crate trained, potty trained, and I’m happy to tell you that I get along with dogs, cats, and kids, too. I’m also working on getting myself into better shape, so my forever family will need to help me keep up with my healthy lifestyle and make sure I get plenty of exercise.

After everything I’ve been through, I think I deserve a pretty great happily-ever-after. I’m not looking for anything fancy, just someone who will love me, keep me close, play with me, and never give up on me again.

Maybe that someone could be you?
