Papa ( Seeking holistic minded adopters)

Papa was an owner surrender, and his situation was getting very dangerous he is a handful due to separation anxiety, his owners wanted him gone because he had accidents in the house. The neighbor cared for Papa as much as possible, but the owners had a dog before Papa and one day they left with the dog and came back without the dog. The neighbor was horrified and did not want that happening to Papa since he has vision issues. She hated that it happened to the other dog, so she put a post up on Facebook and Mama Dog Rescue had to help Papa. <br/><br/>His vision is not a problem at all, and Dr Sheppard believes it is due to allergies. He is on supplements to help correct his vision. Papa has become attached to the head of the rescue, and he does trust her, but he cannot leave her side he becomes anxious. She is working with him, and a trainer has assessed him and hopefully will be able to have the time for some training sessions. The trainer sees the wonderful dog in Papa and due to his breed, she feels he needs a job. Papa does know sit and give me paw. He does walk great on a leash. <br/><br/>Downfalls he has jumped a wood fence to get to the head of the rescue he jumped it a few times but never left the front yard. He is very excited to get his food and will try to get to his bowl on the counter. As well as his separation anxiety.<br/><br/>It would be best if his new forever home understood his breed and is willing to go for a lot of walks. Dream home would be a farm! Papa is sweet and loveable he just wants a friend and his person of his own. <br/><br/>All our dogs are muscle tested at Sheppard Alternative Animal Care and they are also seen at Natural Healing Pet Care to heal them naturally when needed.
