Papa John's Story
You'll notice that Papa John is smiling in the majority of his pictures-that's because he is nearly always smiling and is such a happy boy. His smile has one of those puppy smiles that can brighten the hardest day.

When you introduce yourself to Papa John, he comes to greet you with the best wagging tail. He wants to say hello and then if you ask him to sit, he sits down like a gentleman and waits patiently for a treat reward. Papa John keeps his eyes on you, watching to see what you will ask of him next. And he has already mostly learned how to lie down, too!

As for his energy level, he's not a bouncing-off-the-wall type of dog but we could see him loving daily walks followed by snuggles.

Papa John is content to have his own space at home without dog friends but redirects nicely when he sees dogs out and about. He asks for no kitty friends. Older kiddos may be a great fit for him!

He is about five years old, weighs around 65 pounds or so and is neutered. Papa John is waiting with open paws to meet you
