Hi, I'm Papa Gus! I'm a 9-year-old Chihuahua with a whole lot of love left to give. I'm one of those dogs who just genuinely loves everyone I meet. Kids? I love them. Cats? They're friends too. Other dogs? I absolutely love them! I'm a sweet, easygoing guy who would be happy to spend my days surrounded by people and other furry friends. At my age, I'm not looking for anything complicated... I just want a loving family to call my own and plenty of companionship. I do have some dental issues that I'm working through, but there's good news: Oahu SPCA is covering the cost of my next dental, so my new family won't have to take that on themselves. I've spent nine years becoming the sweet little guy I am, and now I'm ready to spend my golden years in a home where I can be loved as much as I love everyone else. Adopt me today!

Potential adopters must fill out an application. If approved they will be considered for adoption and can meet with animals. Outside of the pandemic, people can come to the shelter to view animals for adoption as well. Then an adoption application is filled out, a donation fee made and pets can go to their new homes.
