Paola's Story

From her loving foster:

"This sweet girl arrived in rescue just days before giving birth to three Pugtatoes on 12/18/2026. She is about 3.5-4 years and has been used as a breeding tool all of her life. She has been a patient and loving mama to all her babies but now that's all behind her and she's ready to be the baby!

"Paola a very chill little dog, about 13 pounds, who loves every person and dog she meets (has not been cat tested, but I bet she would love them too). She has taken to potty training and the indoor life like a star and while she loves to be near her foster Mom, she is not clingy. She is social, silly, and oh so sweet. While her sons have been adopted, she is still extraordinarily close with her only daughter. Her foster mom's dream is that she and Clara (also posted for adoption) are adopted together and she will have one baby she never has to have ripped from her. She will be spayed before leaving foster care and has many years of love and laughs to give!!!"

Paola is in Colorado, being fostered in Denver and available to meet!

Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster-to-adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.

Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado.
