Panzer's Story

Hi there! I made a list of things I want you to know so I can find the perfect home!

Name: Panzer
Second accidental name: Tank (because foster dad has read too many history books)
Rain: A nice rain is no biggie, will even lounge in it
Dogs: Would like them to play (especially when zoomies kick in), but submissive when told no by others. Excitement to greet other dogs may result in a double paw tap to their back
Cats: Please no. They're the enemy.
People: As long as you approach respectfully and plan to pet, all sizes are cool (you might get kisses)
Training: Need it. Still working on "sit" as long as the humans have treats
Walks: A solid 3-mile boy (at least)
Food: YES (so far chicken protein-base has been awesome)
Treat-taking: Gently, I am grateful for every additional morsel you give me
Toys: Benebones and Kongs are the best
Crate trained: Working on "crate" command, but better with treats. I've kept a clean crate in foster to this point though.
House trained: Occasionally try to mark, but I respond well when told no. Need some work, but showing healthy progress (I'm still just around 1 year old as a rescue)
New friends: PLEASE
Lapdog: Certified
Bed snuggler: Double certified
Puppy eyes: Always
Ready For You To Come Back Home for More of the Above: 110%

From Foster Dad:
Panzer has been one of those dogs that's easy to enjoy having around. He's still very much a young dog and is learning the basics, but he wants to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether that's heading out for a decent walk, racing around with another dog in the yard, or simply claiming your lap despite having absolutely no concept of personal space, he's all in. He's got a goofy, affectionate personality that makes it hard not to smile, and he's made steady progress with both his crate and house manners since coming into foster. If you're looking for a dog that's equal parts adventure buddy and oversized cuddle bug, and don't mind occasionally paying the puppy-eye tax for treats, Panzer is going to make someone an incredible companion.
