Pantera's Story

Meet Pantera <br/>Pantera is a female dog with a long body and short legs who can be very shy when she first meets new people. She prefers to take her time, watching and getting a feel for her surroundings before engaging. New environments and unfamiliar faces can be a bit overwhelming for her at first. With patience and consistency, Pantera begins to build trust and show more interest in the people around her. She would do best with an adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to let her move at her own pace. A quieter setting and steady routine will help her feel more comfortable as she adjusts.

It means that each adopted pet comes with more than $1,100 of "extras" AND you get to save the life of a special animal in need! How much does it cost to adopt? No life is more valuable than another, however many animals we take in are in need of extensive medical or behavioral assistance. Some animals take months, or even years to find their forever home while others are virtually guaranteed to have multiple applications within hours of arriving at our organization. To help generate the funds necessary to continue our life-saving work adoption fees are based on a number of factors including: age, breed, size, medical or behavioral issues, and length of time in the shelter.
