Panda Bear's Story

Meet Panda Bear: a 3-year-old, spunky, sweet 45 lb tailed Australian Shepherd.

Panda was surrendered to our rescue by an AKC breeder, along with dozens of other Aussies. He spent his whole life living outdoors in a small pen, and is now experiencing life as a pet for the very first time.

Despite his limited socialization on the breeding ranch, Panda Bear is incredibly friendly and eager to connect with people. He doesn’t know a stranger and loves kids. He’s making up for lost time with zoomies, cuddles, and giving his signature bear-hugs, where he wraps his paws around you.

This playful, social, and rambunctious boy loves playing with other dogs and would thrive in an active, adventurous home. He’d be a great hiking companion, but also has an off switch for movie nights and hanging out on the porch.

He’s great with kids and is currently being fostered with cats. Panda Bear is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find his perfect match!

To Adopt: www.herdinghomerescue.com/adoption-application

Please do not inquire via Petfinder.
