Panda's Story

I'm Panda! I am a 30-pound, 11-month old Boxer mix. I am high energy and all love all the time. I'm recovering from a hip replacement surgery. I just arrived at Hudson Paws. Panda is an 11-month-old Boxer mix weighing about 30 pounds, and he's bursting with love, energy, and enthusiasm for life. This happy, affectionate pup truly adores everyone he meets -- humans and dogs alike -- and greets the world with a wagging tail and a big heart.

Panda is a playful, high-energy guy who loves his leash walks and is always excited to get out and explore. When the day winds down, he's just as happy soaking up belly rubs and cuddling on the couch with his favorite people. He's the perfect blend of fun-loving and affectionate -- ready for adventure one moment and snuggles the next.

Panda is currently recovering from hip surgery and is doing wonderfully. He's been enjoying his structured walks and physical therapy sessions with staff, showing just how resilient and eager he is to get back to full strength. He'll benefit from a home that can continue to support his recovery with guided exercise and care, helping him build strength and confidence along the way. He is also still a mouthy puppy so he will need help redirecting his "happy mouth" onto appropriate things to chew!

With his loving nature, playful spirit, and determination, Panda is sure to make an incredible companion. He's ready to find a forever home where he can keep growing, healing, and sharing all the love he has to give.

Boxer mixes are playful, affectionate, and full of personality. Known for their joyful energy and love of people, they thrive on companionship and are happiest when they're part of the action. These dogs are often friendly, social, and eager to make new friends -- both human and canine. They tend to be active and benefit from regular exercise, playtime, and mental engagement. At the same time, Boxer mixes are big softies at heart, often seeking out cuddles and close connection with their families. With structure, consistency, and lots of love, they grow into loyal, fun-loving companions who bring endless happiness to their homes.

Could Panda be the perfect match for you?

Vaccinations Up to Date: Yes

Microchipped: Yes

Neutered: Yes

Good on Leash: Yes

Good with Kids: Unknown

Good with Other Dogs: Yes

Good with Cats: Unknown

Potty Trained: Unknown

Special Needs: Rehab exercises for hip surgery
