Panda's Story

PRANCING PANDA

This adorable little senior furball only wants two things: 1) to lay by your feet, and 2) to PRANCE across a grassy field!

When Panda arrived, we thought she was just a frail, blind Shih Tzu. But with a healthy diet, lots of love, and daily walks, she's rediscovered her joy — and gets more tail-waggy every day. Panda is mostly blind and mostly deaf, but that doesn't stop her from staying glued to your side and happily trotting along in the yard or on walks.

She's housebroken, quiet, docile, a great eater, and an even better sleeper (through the night, every night!). She's also a surprisingly fantastic leash walker. Panda is indifferent to other dogs and cats and isn't much of a player — though that could change with time and patience.

Panda would thrive in a home looking for a chill cuddle buddy with yard or park access. She's not a match for an active household with young kids, and she needs daily eye drops for glaucoma. She may whine in her crate at first, but with a little crate training, she settles in and sleeps soundly on her own.

If you want the joy of earning love by giving love, Panda is the galloping gal for you.

Apply at eapl.com — adoption fee $375
