Paloma's Story

MEET PALOMA
The prettiest little 5-month-old Schnoodle mix with legs for days and a heart that’s learning to trust.

Paloma is our best guess at a Schnauzer–Poodle mix, making her low-to-non shedding and a pup who will need regular grooming to keep her looking fabulous. She currently weighs about 12 lbs and has a stunning tricolor coat, long legs, and a delicate, sweet presence. Full grown, we expect her to be around 20 lbs — the perfect small-to-medium size.

She came to us from the Central Valley after living in very poor conditions, and despite her rough start, Paloma is gentle, affectionate, and blossoming more every day. She can be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. Watching her confidence grow is truly special.

Paloma is active, curious, and eager to learn. She’s old enough and ready to begin training and will thrive with a family committed to positive reinforcement, socialization, daily exercise, and structure. She’s currently fostered in a home with multiple dogs and is doing wonderfully, taking cues from her canine companions and learning how to “dog” in a loving environment.

Her ideal home:
• A house (no apartments)
• Another friendly dog for companionship and play
• A flexible work schedule so she’s not left alone for long stretches
• Humans who are patient, active, and excited to help a young pup learn

Paloma is not yet fully house or crate trained, but she is making progress every day and is eager to learn with consistency and love.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive, and playful young pup who will grow into an incredible companion, Paloma may be your girl.
