Palmer's Story

Animal Profile: Palmer is a 1-year-old, 14 lb Chihuahua that found himself in a pickle: He wound up in the San Bernardino shelter on the euthanasia list due to his fearfulness, and the lack of space in the shelter. Luckily for Palmer, our rescue partners Angels of Rawley spotted him and swooped in for the save. We are excited to help him decompress so we can get to know his personality and find him a loving home.

Foster Update: Palmer is a smart but very shy little guy. He is still quite nervous and it takes him a long minute to warm up to you, but once he does you have his heart. He does very well in his crate and is almost fully potty trained. His nervousness does result in excited pee at times. His favorite thing is watching tv with you, but tends to fall asleep being next to you. He will talk to you in his sleep and you'll experience his dreams with his movements. For all you NCIS fans, Palmer needs a Ducky in his life to teach him the ropes.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application

Animal History: will be arriving from a Angel's of Rawley and transported via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on 1/26/25. He will be in foster care in the Seattle area and available for adoption soon!
