Pal-adopted! Border Collie & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Minneapolis, MN

This little cutie is Pal. He is a Border Collie mix, maybe with cattle dog and lab. We are not exactly sure what his DNA says, but we know he is a super cute, loving puppy ready to find his forever home. At around 13 lbs now, we think Pal will be in the range of 50 lbs when full grown.

Born in early November 2020, Pal is happy, and loves food, playtime and people. He is smart and active, looking for a family that will include him in everything they do. He will need great socialization to help him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. Pal is no couch potato – he wants to walk, hike, camp and live an active life! He will also need opportunities to learn through obedience classes and mental engagement (trick training, games, puzzles).

Pal absolutely needs a canine sibling in his forever home to help build his confidence and model great behavior. Because of his sharp puppy teeth, homes with older kids will be considered. For his safety, we will also prefer homes with physically fenced yards: he is too young for invisible fencing.

Families that work outside the home need to include information in their application about how they will accommodate potty training because Pal may not be left home alone for more than a few hours a day.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry email through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

The adoption fee for puppies is $400 + MN sales tax. This fee includes spay or neuter at the age of 5 months at one of our veterinary clinics. Puppies are up to date on vaccinations at the time of adoption.
