Paisley's Story
Paisley is a stunning 1-year-old Collie mix with a gorgeous brindle-and-white coat, soulful eyes, and a heart full of love. This lovely girl is the perfect blend of affectionate, well-mannered, and easygoing.

One of Paisley's sweetest traits is that she's a true hugger. She loves being close to her people and is always happy to lean in for affection. Despite her young age, she's remarkably calm and quiet, rarely barking and taking life's adventures in stride.

Paisley is currently being fostered with a cat and has proven herself to be wonderfully cat-friendly, coexisting peacefully without any issues. She has also done well meeting children and is friendly with everyone she meets, including both men and women. Like many young dogs, she's still working on her enthusiasm when greeting people and is learning not to jump up, which will be especially important around toddlers or frail seniors.

She enjoys the company of other animals and has shown excellent manners with dogs. She politely attempted to play with a small dog and has remained neutral and respectful around dogs her own size. Paisley is also comfortable around horses and pays little attention to birds, although she can't resist watching the occasional squirrel race by!

This smart girl already knows some commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and is fully house-trained. At bedtime, Paisley settles quietly into her crate and sleeps through the entire night without a peep. She can be an anxious chewer when left unattended, so she should be crated when home alone and kept away from anything she might be tempted to chew.

Paisley is ready to find a loving family of her own. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who gets along with dogs, cats, kids, and even horses, Paisley may be the perfect addition to your home.
