Pacer is a black and tan German Shepherd, about 2 years old. He is very friendly and smart, and loves to run and play. He gets along well with other dogs. Pacer was heartworm positive, but is done with treatment and on preventative. Warren Billhartz Collinsville Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We feel it is important to meet your new forever friend before deciding that he or she is the right one for you. Because of this, we require that all adoption applications be done in person. We don't have online, email, or phone applications. All pets will be spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped as part of the adoption. We are located at 119 United Driver in Collinsville, IL. That's off of 157 just south of Horseshoe Lake Rd. The adoption program is open by appointment 7 days a week 11:00AM to 4:00PM. You can reach us at 618-346-5213 with any questions. Please keep in mind we are a working animal control and sometimes the shelter has to be closed to the public during normal business hours.
