Pace's Story

Hi! My name is Pace! I am a large, handsome 1 year old fawn boy that is on the hunt for my forever home! Nothing is known about my history, but that is behind me and I'm thriving in my foster home! I am a goofy, loving, playful boy that takes direction very well! I am your typical boxer boy that has high bursts of energy, but will quickly calm down and nap after. I am house trained, crate trained, doggy door trained, and know basic commands! I am easy to kennel and actually love being in it. I will whine and bark but quickly calms down and am getting even better when kenneling on routine. I am obsessed with the humans and love cuddling! I am learning to play with toys and so far I haven't made any magically explode! There is a female resident dog and after a slow intro, we get along well! I have not had the opportunity to meet other dogs beside the resident dog, so I am reactive to other dogs when on leash or on the opposite side of the fence. I am a very strong and playful boy that enjoys spending my spare time chasing squirrels. I enjoy it so much that I unintentionally and accidentally broke the fence jumping at one...oops! If you are looking for a handsome fun boy to join your family, look no further! Contact the rescue today and tell them you want to meet Pace because I am waiting to meet you!

If you're interested in fostering a dog, please fill out the Foster Application

http://austinboxerrescue.com/rehoming/adoption/foster/

If you're interested in adopting a dog, please fill out the Adoption Application

http://austinboxerrescue.com/adoption-application/

Our volunteers will work with you to find the best dog for your home.
