Pablo's Story

Pablo is a 10 year old Chihuahua that I've been fostering since January. When Gunther's legacy first took him to the vet, they were told his teeth were in a bad state. He had a number of them removed so has some trouble chewing big items, but he loves to try anyway. He is a sweet little gentleman who loves to sit as near as he can to his people and loves to snuggle under the covers with them at bedtime. He is peepad trained (but sometimes lifts his leg to mark when he is in a new place, so I occasionally use a belly band on him). As we live in a two-story house, and the stairs are dark at night, I generally keep him in a belly band at night because I don't want him to go down the stairs in the dark. I can almost say he is potty trained as he will bark at the door, if he can't get the doggie door opened. He's not sure of how hard to hit the doggie door because sometimes it comes back and hits him in the face. Now he doesn't hit it as hard as he should so he keeps hitting at it until it moves and he sticks his head through. However I've noticed lately he does go in and out throughout the day without too much trouble so that is why I say almost sure he's potty trained. He is very food oriented and is learning to wait his turn, sit, and run after his treats (he jumps on them to catch them). Pablo does make an unusual sound when he feels lost and can't find you - he sounds like a baby crying. He also likes to drink water from the shower floor. He sometimes stares at you, then looks at the shower to tell you to turn it on. He doesn't like to step into the shower water (or take a bath). Pablo would do best in a settled home without too much distraction. He enjoys meeting new people and would really really like to find his forever home. If you think he would fit in with you please contact Gunters legacy,

Pablo is waiting for his forever home and can't wait to meet you! He's absolutely adorably handsome. He was pulled from a shelter with a very bad teeth and he had a tumor in is mouth he is all fixed up now and check had a re-check of the lump that was removed and has received a clean bill of health.

He can be playful and grumpy he doesn't like to be disturbed if he's sleeping but who does, right? He would love a home where he has his own person who can shower him with all the love he deserves, is that you!

Pablo is anxiously waiting for all you application to adopt him!
