Ozzy's Story

Ozzy is a 5-6 month old doodle mix with the cutest little low-rider body and the sweetest personality to match. This happy-go-lucky boy seems well socialized and loves meeting new people, greeting everyone with full-body wiggles and a constantly wagging tail. He’s friendly with other dogs, enjoys playing with toys, and would absolutely love a playful dog buddy — though he’d also do great as long as his humans keep him socialized with dog friends, daycare, or outings.

Ozzy has a nice moderate energy level for a puppy. He’s playful and fun without being completely wild, and after some playtime he’s happy to settle down and hang out with his people. He’s also kid friendly, though like many puppies he can get a little mouthy when he’s excited, so a home without super little kiddos would be best.

He’s crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night like a champ. During the day he may let you know he’d rather be out with you, but overall he’s doing great. Ozzy is still working on house training, but the good news is he’s not a marker and is making progress. Because he’s still just a baby, he’ll need a home where someone works from home, works part time, or can come let him out during the day — he’s not quite ready for full workday crating yet.

As a doodle mix, Ozzy will also need an adopter committed to regular grooming and brushing. He came into rescue with quite a few mats already at only 5 months old, so keeping up with coat maintenance will be important to keep him comfortable and looking handsome.

Ozzy is truly such a sweet, happy boy who’s ready to find a family to grow up with. ❤️

Ozzy is in foster in Lone Tree, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/ozzy

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
