Ozzie's Story

Who’s this handsome fella, you ask? Meet Ozzie, who'll be 7 years young at the end of October, and who sounds like a real catch.

I haven’t had a chance to meet Ozzie in person yet (he’s in the Vancouver, WA, area), but I’m told that he’s a sweetheart and very lovable. Unfortunately the owner’s daughter has developed allergies and Ozzie’s not able to spend time with the family like he’s been used to. Rather than banish him to the outside, his owner realizes that Ozzie needs a home that can care for him in the way he should be – as part of the family.

Ozzie is friendly with most everyone he meets (can be a little uncomfortable with people that come on strong and are too much too soon (me too, Ozzie!). He’s playful (favorite game is playing fetch), good with kids, and well-mannered with basic obedience (come, sit, down, stay, fetch, jump, speak) and is great on leash. He’s good with most other dogs, but cats are a NO for Ozzie. He’s crate trained, rides well in the car, and is friendly at the vet too.

Apply to adopt Ozzie today and get lucky! https://forms.spdrdogs.org/Adoption/

Washington State – no interstate transports. Oregon, Idaho, and BC adopters will be considered.
