OZWALD's Story

Hi! My name is Ozwald and I am available for adoption! I was left in an overnight kennel at RASKC on July 28, 2026 by a Police Officer so my history is unknown. I weigh about 73.0 lbs so I am considered a large breed dog. I love to play and go for long walks with volunteers! I am smart and treat motivated! I know the commands `sit` and `come`. I have done well with other dogs! As always, slow, gradual introductions are recommended. You can also bring your dog to RASKC for a safe meet-and-greet to make sure we are a good match! I have pretty good manners overall, but sometimes jump up when I am excited. I love to give kisses. :) I am currently in a foster home and this is what my foster has said about me, He's very calm during the workday, goes potty in the morning then sleeps again until 2/3pm. He's definitely potty-trained. He loves to hang out on a dog bed over furniture for someone that may prefer that and will ask permission to get on the bed with you. He's an independent guy, loves some affection and cuddles but is content to do his own thing in another room. We're working on leash skills but he is very treat motivated, friendly when passing people and other dogs, will accept a gentle leader so pulls less with that. He loves to chew and play with toys and is very gentle with them, doesn't destroy them or try to swallow things. Genuinely very well trained for a two year old dog, if he was good on a leash he'd basically be an angel. I'm currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the read about our adoption process link then foster path link!
