This guy deserves a great home and that is exactly what he now has. He is going to be a happy and spoiled little guy. His new family is great and they are very excited about adding Owen to their family. Owen, we wish you the best!<br/><br/><br><br><br><font face='tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif'><font size='2'><strong> FEB 27-09: </strong> <br/>Owen is a very sweet boy. He follows Bob and I around because he doesn't see very well at all. I talked to Bo today because I was worried about him eating but I decided to feed him in a crate and that worked very well this morning. So when it's time to eat, that's where he'll eat. I'll take some more pics of him now and after I get him groomed next week. I'm using drops in his eyes instead of the ointment; it's easier for me to do and he seems to be doing well with them. I wash his face every day (sometimes twice to get rid of the gunky eyes.) He gets along well with all of the kids. <br/><br/><br><br><br><font face='tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif'><font size='2'><strong> FEB 6-09: </strong> I decided to wake up extra early this morning so I could be the first one to check in! I do have a few things to tell you since my last pupdate. First, I am about to go nuts here at Camp McClnk. This sure is an active place. There is no way I can keep up with these young whippersnappers. After all, the average age of all my 4-legged fur friends is about 3!!! I really don’t know how old I am, but I can tell you one thing I am NOT 3! I have decided napping instead of playing is my idea of a good time. I am a quiet and mellow little guy who is content with being around people and sleeping. I really like to follow people around, BUT BEWARE. I don’t see the best and sometimes I walk right in front of people. <br/></p><br/>OK, I do need to get one thing off my chest. You see there is this GIANT furkid here who is about 7 times my size. He is a nice guy, but he tends not to watch where he is walking. Then you have me who does not see the best. I am sure you can guess what happens in these kinds of situations. I guess life must not be too bad if that is my only complaint. I am just looking forward to the day where I can be spoiled by a family who is going to love me forever. So long as I have good food, a comfy bed, and someone to hold me I will be the happiest boy EVER!! I am really a sweet boy looking for a relaxed home where we can just hang out and have a good time. Oh, and movie night would also be a bonus!<br/></p><br/>I have one last thing to talk about before Ant Bo kicks me off the computer. Last week Ant Bo took me to the dogtor because she was really worried about my vision. Well, as she suspected, and as I know (if she would have just asked I would have told her), my vision is not the best. I do have something called dry eyes. Anyways, the dogtor did say is would be best if I get some drops for my eyes to keep them lubricated. I also, have cataracts which does affect my vision. I can still see, just my vision is not 100%. Now, I think it is best if I end on a positive note. The dogtor did say my blood testing came back great! <br/></p><br/>Anyways, Ant Bo says I must share the computer time with the other furkids. I went to the dogtor!!! OK, I really did not mind going to see the dogtor, and I was very well behaved. The dogtor said my heart and lungs sounded great, and my knees are good!!! I am pretty happy about all that. I get to go back in a few days to get some shots and get neutered. Anyways, just thought I would drop a quick note telling everyone I am doing great and I am still looking for a home!! Wow, there is sure a lot going on here at camp, but I was told things will get better once I get used to my environment. Right now I am a little confused, but everyone keeps telling me things only get better from here.</p>I will be going to the dogtor pretty soon to get neutered, shots, dental, and checked over. Once I get back I will tell you how old they think I am. If I was to guess I am about 8 years young and weigh about 9 pounds. I am a little shy, but once I warm up to you I love to be held.</p>As I said before, I am still getting used to things here at camp, but I do enjoy all the other furkids I have meet here. Ant Bo keeps telling me how sweet I am, not to mention how handsome I am. I know it is ruf being so adorable!!</p>All the other furkids keep talking about the holidays, and how this is supposed to be a special time of year. All I know is I would love to have a family to spend the holidays with.
