Outlaw (Winston)'s Story

Hi, I’m Outlaw, but my friends call me Winston! I’m enjoying foster life with my emotional support humans and doggie siblings, but really want to find my own forever person/family.

My ideal adopter is patient, understanding, and has experience with nervous dogs. I’m working on learning that the outside world isn’t a scary place and need someone that is willing to support me and take things slow. Respectful dog siblings would be a plus. I really enjoy playing with my foster siblings - they’re helping me work on my confidence, especially outdoors. Since I can be easily spooked by unexpected sights and sounds, a fenced-in yard would help keep me safe.

Once I feel comfortable, my happy, fun, and snuggly side comes out. Right now, indoors is my safe space. I’m a great companion to watch tv with and I’ll even occasionally nudge your hand to remind you that it’s time for more pets. At just under 30 pounds, I’m the perfect size to join you on the couch without taking up too much room.

Did I also mention that I’m a smart guy? I’m crate trained, potty-trained, and know a few words like “sit” and “come.” My foster parents are helping me expand my vocabulary too.

If you’re interested in becoming my forever person/family, please check out more information on the adoption process and apply for me! https://www.secondchanceranchrescue.com/adopt
