Otto's Story
Otto came to us from a breeder dump situation several days after seeing his deaf brother get hit by a car. He has dealt with severe separation anxiety since then and seemingly recovered. He does not kennel well but he is not destructive when left alone with another dog. He is most likely better suited to be with a multi dog family or a retiree that needs his constant companionship. He loves fetch and will bring whatever you throw right back to your feet. He loves water and will splash in available puddles or bodies of water. Even with his size he is gentle when playing with smaller dogs. He is friendly to strangers, dog or human, and does well in public places. He also loves to chase, so any hunters out there need a hog dog, he should be easily trained as that is his breed (half of it).
