OTTO's Story

This handsome senior guy is OTTO, about a 10-12 year old male that was brought in to HOPE as a stray and never claimed. We don’t know much about OTTO since he is new to us but we’re learning that he is a very sweet, loving boy but inside his kennel he is very stressed, anxious and having a hard time. The moment he is out of it, he just wants to go, like he is looking for his person and wondering where they could be. It’s very sad and especially at his age, he should be living out his life in a home with his people. We are unsure of his breed, we assume some type of lab mix but we don’t know what he could be mixed with as he kind of looks like a lot of breeds all rolled into one. He does have some hair loss on his back so we have started him on some salmon oil treats to help with his skin and coat. He does show clear signs of arthritis in his legs so we’ll also be starting him on hip and joint supplements now that he is consistently eating. We would love to find OTTO a home as soon as possible because knowing how stressed he is here breaks our hearts.
