Otterton 's Story

Introducing Otterton — the happiest little potato around, and he's growing up!

This floppy-eared boy has come a long way. He loves his walks, is crate and potty trained, and has gotten really good about being home during the day — he settles right into his crate while his foster is at work, no fuss. Nights are even better: he'll put himself to bed or crash on the floor until his last potty break like the seasoned pro he's becoming. Oh, and he sleeps belly up, paws in the air, like the absolute weirdo he is.

Otterton would thrive in a home with other dogs — he adores them and just wants to play. He's a little nervous around new people at first, but once he's properly introduced, he warms right up and brings all the love.

That said, Otterton is still a 7-month-old, 40-lb work in progress, and he's at his best with consistency and clear rules. He prefers not to be bothered while eating, and he still has a firm 9:30pm bedtime — but gone are the chaos goblin days. He's learned the routine and leans into it. He needs someone willing to guide him, and he truly thrives when he has boundaries.

He's changing and growing every day. Give this boy structure and he'll give you his whole heart.
