Meet Otterton<br/><br/>This curious, floppy-eared 10-month-old is one of the smartest dogs we’ve ever fostered — and he’s ready for his people.<br/><br/>He knows sit, leave it, come, crate, bedtime & more. Walks great on a leash, does great alone during the day, and puts himself to bed at night. Whip smart + food motivated ! He’s also good with other dogs and loves to play. <br/><br/>Otterton came from a hoarding situation in Texas and was adopted and returned. He’s not a problem dog. He’s a dog who needed the right person to be patient with him. Since being back in foster care, his resource guarding? Gone. He won’t even eat unless his person is nearby. <br/><br/>He takes time to warm up, but once you’ve earned his trust, he wants to be near you — and when he’s ready for cuddles, he’ll let you know.<br/><br/>Otterton doesn’t need perfection. He needs consistency, patience, and someone who won’t give up on him.
