Meet OTIS in Salt Lake City Utah! Otis is a 2-1/2 year old male Cairn Terrier, born 12/2/2023. He is a beautiful wheaten boy and came into our program because his human dad travelled too much for work. Otis is housebroken and has had no accidents in his foster home.<br/><br/>Otis is a lively, energetic boy who will need lots of stimulation and playtime to keep him happy. He shows a bit of resource guarding with food and toys; otherwise he is a polite and attentive boy. He got a summer haircut before being released to us. Shown is one photo of his non-summer cut.<br/><br/>Otis LOVES his car rides, and enjoys nothing better than his occasional "pup cup". He gets along with other dogs just fine, outside of his not wanting to share toys or food. Otis does not mind the crate, though he currently has free run of the house with no problems. He loves to sleep on the bed with his people.<br/><br/>Otis would do best in a home with someone there most of the time; he has shown some anxiety when his people have left him alone. However, he has shown no signs of destructing things while his foster people have left him alone. <br/><br/>Like all CRUSA dogs, Otis is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is on a monthly heartworm preventative. <br/><br/>The adopting family will need to travel to the Salt Lake City, UT area to pick up Otis. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Otis, please take the time to fill our online adoption application: https://cairnrescueusa.com/adoption-application/<br/>Prior adopters and those who have already filled out an adoption application do not need to fill out a new adoption application; just send us a note to Adoptions@CairnRescueUSA.com saying that you are interested in adopting Otis and that either you have adopted from us before or have an application on file.
