Otis's Story
Old man or just old body.
That is a question we should be able to answer with chipped dogs but Otis didn’t have any info on his. He isn’t telling either. Otis has a hard lump on the side of his and a few other minor older injuries but otherwise seems happy. He sure does thrive in calm energy and soaks up attention. Otis is requesting someone special be his person for the long haul.

Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).

We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

If you have any questions, please email caccpetfinder@gmail.com

A306770
