You could see every rib, every vertebra, every bone in his tiny body. He was starving.<br/><br/>But despite everything he had clearly been through... Otis was still kind.<br/><br/>Still loving.<br/>Still trusting.<br/>Still happy to be around people.<br/><br/>Within his very first week in rescue care, Otis gained nearly 30% of his body weight on his carefully managed refeeding plan, and he has continued getting stronger every single day. Now this sweet boy has blossomed into the healthy, happy dog he was always meant to be.<br/><br/>As his body has healed, his personality has really come alive. Otis has discovered just how much fun life can be, and with that healthy weight has come plenty of energy! He loves to play, explore, go for walks, and be wherever his people are. He's no longer the quiet, exhausted dog who first arrived in rescue-he's an active, joyful young dog who is excited to make up for lost time.<br/><br/>Because of that, Otis is looking for a home that's ready to embrace his enthusiasm. He'll thrive with an active family who can give him daily exercise, continued training, and plenty of companionship.
