Otis's Story

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// // Say hello to Otis! He is around 2 years old, approximately 15 pounds, and appears to be a terrier/pit/chihuahua mix. Otis is a good-natured boy with lots of love to give! He is energetic, playful, and always up for an adventure. Once he settles in and gets comfy, he enjoys a cuddle on the couch, where he will lay by your side or often get on your lap. He gets along well with other dogs and loves meeting new people. He walks well on the leash and loves to sniff. Otis is crate trained and doesn’t mind the car (as long as he is in the crate or tethered—if not, he can get antsy and give the driver kisses!). He rarely barks and seldom growls. Since Otis came from a shelter as a stray, he will need a patient family that are ready to train him to do basic commands. He is a quick learner! Overall, he is a happy and loving boy that would do well in a home that gives him plenty of exercise, love, and carrots! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
