Otie's Story

We rescued Otie from the Riverside Shelter after he was viciously attacked by a coyote leaving his ribs broken, air escaping his chest cavity, and a chunk of his left side missing. Despite the horror he endured, he's one of the sweetest dogs we've ever met. He loves other dogs, is cat friendly and would be wonderful with children who have respectful boundaries. Otie isn't high energy but does have rare moments of liking to play. Otie's tail is always wagging and he loves being outside, cuddling up with his people or other dogs and having tasty treats. Although he's not 100% better yet, he is on the mend and is expected to be mostly recovered and possibly available for adoption in July. Please not that Otie does not have hair where his side was eaten by a coyote. Hair will never grow on that patch again but he's still cute as can be!
